ACUPUNCTUREAcupuncture is a core component of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM). Using fine, single-use needles, acupuncture targets specific points—called acupoints—along the body’s energy pathways, or meridians, to help rebalance the flow of energy, known as Qi. This process stimulates the nervous system, promoting the release of natural chemicals and hormones that support physical, emotional, and mental well-being. Whether used for pain relief, stress management, or overall health, acupuncture offers a natural, safe, and effective approach to achieving optimal wellness.

CUPPING + GUA SHACupping is a technique often referred to as a “reverse massage”, where a clean cup is placed on the skin in a specific area, and a gentle suction is applied. Instead of using downward pressure (positive pressure) to access the muscle tissue underneath, cupping uses an upward pressure (negative pressure). Gua sha involves the use of a small, smooth-edged tool to firmly press-stroke the skin in one direction. These modalities promote Qi flow, improve circulation, relax muscles, soothe the nervous system, and reduce inflammation, which contributes to chronic pain. Cupping and gua sha accelerate healing, support cell repair, and help break up or reduce fascial adhesions (muscle knots).

MOXIBUSTIONMoxibustion is a therapeutic technique rooted in TCM that involves the application of moxa—a cone or stick made from the dried, ground herb Artemisia vulgaris (mugwort)—to specific acupuncture points or areas of the body. The process involves the controlled burning of moxa to generate heat, which is believed to influence the body's Qi (vital energy), promote circulation, and balance physiological functions. Moxibustion is great for musculoskeletal disorders, gastrointestinal disorders, reproductive health and more.
